I believe that at the time that these were manufactured it was refered to as the predator. Complete. The two pieces can be used indpendently of each other. What makes the PIG great, it's indestructible. I can't really think of any downsides for the kayak, taking into consideration what it's designed to be. I love the large cockpit, it allows me to keep essential tackle close at hand when fishing from it. Lastly, you can count on staying pretty dry in this boat. The wideth of this boat is good and bad. Its a smooth paddling craft and takes little effort to do so. I love it dearly and it treats me well but I can't get over the fake hatch in the back. Sorry for the long review, but I thought it might be useful to share more than just my initial reaction to the boat. 5.0 out of 5 stars 1. They are both really cheap as well, for what you get. I read that some of the other boats I considered would leak around the hatches and bulkheads regularly so I just decided it would be better to get a simple reliable boat that would fit my purposes.
